This is a massive Wild Boar taxidermy shoulder mount, posed with its head looking straight out into the room. This massive boar has fantastic reproduction (fake) tusks, a terrific hid, and rich colored natural hair. The top tusks measure 2 1/8″ while the lower tusks measure 3″. All this combined with expert-quality taxidermy craftsmanship, earns this item our Premier Plus™ overall quality rating. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space.

Animal Description

About the Wild Boar (Sus scrofa)

The wild boar is an ancestor of the domestic pig and is native to much of northern and central Europe and Asia, though it can be found on many ranches throughout the U.S. The boar has a compact figure, with a large head and relatively short legs, ranging in typical size from 250-600 pounds. Their fur is made up of stiff bristles and fur, varying from dark grey to brown. The males actually develop “tusks,” which are overgrown canine teeth in the lower jaw. Boars will eat a variety of foods, including both meat and vegetation.
