Lifetime Warranty Coverage:

  • We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship and materials used in creating your taxidermy mount. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for the entire lifespan of your mount.
  • If, at any time, your mount exhibits:
    • Cracking or Splitting: This includes cracks or splits in the hide, pedestal, or other structural components.
    • Drumming: A hollow, drum-like sound when tapped on the hide, indicating improper tanning or dehydration.
    • Bug Infestation: Evidence of insect activity or damage caused by insects.
    • Leaks or Odors: Unpleasant smells or leakage of fluids from the mount.
    • Failing Eyes (for freeze-dried mounts): Deterioration or unnatural appearance of the eyes in freeze-dried mounts.
  • We will repair or replace your mount at our discretion, free of charge.

What is Not Covered by the Warranty:

  • This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
    • Normal Wear and Tear: Expected aging or deterioration of the mount over time, such as slight fading of fur or minor color changes.
    • Neglect or Improper Care: Failure to follow proper care and maintenance instructions provided by Creel Taxidermy.
    • Accidental Damage: Damage caused by accidents, mishandling, improper display (excessive heat, direct sunlight), or acts of nature.
    • Pre-Existing Conditions: Damage or defects present in the specimen before the taxidermy process began.

How to Make a Warranty Claim:

  • If you believe your mount exhibits a warrantable defect, please contact us immediately by email at [your email address] or phone at [your phone number].
  • We will require clear photos of the damage and a brief description of the issue.
  • Once we receive your information, we will assess the situation and determine the best course of action. In most cases, we will request that you return the mount to our facility for repair or replacement.
  • We will cover the return shipping costs for warranty claims.
