This is an outstanding Eastern Canada/Maine Moose shoulder taxidermy mount for sale. This moose is posed in an upright position looking straight out into the room and features great hide and hair quality, a nice set of antlers, and expert taxidermy craftsmanship. The antlers have palm lengths of 30 4/8″ and palm widths of 7 6/8″ and 6 6/8″. All of these features combined have helped this Moose earn our Premier™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

– There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

– The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.

Animal Description

About the Eastern Canada Moose (Alces alces americana)

The Eastern Canada Moose is a subspecies of the moose found in Eastern Canada and New England. They are the third-largest subspecies of moose (behind Alaskan Yukon and Western Canadian), with bulls (males) weighing up to 1,400 pounds and females weighing up to 800 pounds. The Eastern Canadian Moose will typically only come in contact with another moose during the mating season when males compete for breeding rights. Bulls (males) use their antlers to fight to help determine which one is dominant.
