This is a truly unique and phenomenal scene, featuring a Black Bear and a Cinnamon Phase Black Bear. The black bear is approximately 250 lbs and the cinnamon black bear is approximately 235 lbs. Both bears have thick, soft hair and feature outstanding hides. The artist that created this masterpiece spared no details in creating this unique and life-like mount. Through masterful artistic talent, the artist was able to capture curious, almost playful life-like expressions on these bears.  To add to the realism of this display the artist added a large beehive with real paper wasps. One of which has just landed on the bear!!!  As if the scene is not awesome enough the bears come affixed to a custom wood base that includes faux habitat enhancements and features a cut out scene of two bears walking in the forest. All of this combined with the masterful taxidermy craftsmanship helps this item earn our Premier Plus Star™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

About the Black Bear (Ursus americanus)

Black Bears are North America’s most common and familiar type of bear. Typically found in wooded areas, black bears are native to North America, though most can be found in Canada and the northern United States. The black bear’s diet consists mainly of fruit, plants, and insects, though they also eat fish and small mammals. As the name implies, most of these bears are entirely black, although some can appear cinnamon in color. Males typically weigh in around 300 lbs, while females are usually closer to half that. Weight fluctuates depending on the season, and black bear usually weighs 30% more just before their winter hibernation.
