This buck features gorgeous hair, a great hide, and an outstanding set of antlers. The antlers main beams measure 22 0/8″ and 20 5/8″ which help it achieve a gross score of 155″. All of this combined with the masterful taxidermy craftsmanship has helped this item earn our prestigious Premier ™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

    About the Mule Deer (Odocoileus hemionus)

    The Mule Deer (Odocoileus hemionus) is one of the more commonly recognized animals in all of North America. The male mule deer is often referred to as a ‘Buck” and can grow to 300 lbs producing antlers that are fully grown and shed once each year. The antlers they produce differ from the whitetail deer, with two ‘forks’ on each side being the most common growth pattern, totaling 8 points. Mule deer are hunted in most western areas of the United States with trophy class antlered males being the most desirable. Their habitat includes everything from the open prairie to mountainous terrain and wooded forests, making them extremely adaptable to a variety of surroundings. Mule deer have a specialized stomach that allows them to eat plants, shoots, and grasses for nutrition.
