Description of Taxidermy for Sale
This is a good Whitetail Deer shoulder taxidermy mount. It is posed with the head in an semi-upright position looking to the deer’s left side out into the room. This Deer has a very good set of antlers, with a SCI score of 139 4/8″ and a B&C / P&Y Score of 134 0/8″. The taxidermy work is very well done on this deer, however, the hair has faded in color from brown to sandy white over time from exposure to sunlight, lowering our grade to a Fair Plus™ overall quality rating. This is still a very nice overall mount with a great price/quality ratio… All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc…
– This Whitetail Deer exceeds the Safari Club International Bronze Medal trophy book score requirement.
– This Whitetail Deer exceeds the Pope & Young trophy book score requirement.
– There is a hanger already attached to the back of the this item.
– It will hang on a single drywall screw.

About the Whitetail Deer (Odocoileus virginianus)
The Whitetail Deer (Odocoileus virginianus) is one of the most commonly recognized animals in all of North America. The male whitetail deer is often referred to as a ‘Buck” and can grow to 300 lbs, producing antlers that are fully grown and shed annually. Whitetail deer are hunted in nearly every state throughout the U.S., with trophy-class antlered males being the most desirable. Their habitat includes everything from the open prairie to deep forests, making them extremely adaptable to various surroundings. Whitetail deer have a specialized stomach that allows them to eat plants, shoots, and grass, as well as various mushrooms that are otherwise toxic to humans.
