This is a wonderful Shiras Moose shoulder taxidermy mount! It is posed in an upright position looking slightly to the viewers left out into the room. This moose has a great set of antlers with a spread of 34 2/8″, palm lengths of 17 4/8″ and 16 7/8″, and palm widths of 4 4/8″ and 5 0/8″.  The wonderful antlers and the stunning taxidermy craftsmanship have combined to help this Moose achieve our Premier™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

– This item comes with a hanger already attached to the back.

– It will hang on a single properly anchored large headed bolt or screw.

Animal Description

About the Shiras Moose (Alces alces shirasi)

The Shiras Moose is the smallest subspecies of moose and can be found in the western states of Wyoming, Montana, Utah, and Idaho. Moose have a rusty brown coat with a large hump on their back just above the body’s shoulders. A moose has palmated antlers, unlike other members of the Cervidae family. The Shiras moose has the smallest body size and the smallest antlers of any North American moose species.
