This is an outstanding reproduction blue catfish with a length of 56″, a girth of 44″, and an estimated live weight of 65 lbs, this fish is a monster! The fins, painting, and taxidermy work are all phenomenal.  All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space. 

– This is a reproduction fish mount, meaning no real animal parts were used.

– There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

– This item will hang on two properly anchored screws spaced 16″ apart. 

– Great for a mantle, shelf, ledge, table, or countertop.

Animal Description

About the Blue Catfish (Ictalurus furcatus)

The Blue Catfish is the largest of the North American Catfish, reaching up to 65 inches in length and weighing 150 lbs! They are mainly found in the Mississippi River, Chesapeake Bay, and a few other lakes in the continental US. Blue catfish can also tolerate brackish water (where saltwater and freshwater meet), thus can colonize along inland waterways of coastal regions.
