For sale, we have an exceptional Pronghorn Antelope taxidermy shoulder mount, posed with its head in an upright position and looking to the viewer’s right side out into the room. The gorgeous tan and cream-colored hair is in excellent condition, and horns that measure 10 3/8+” are nothing to laugh about. All this, combined with masterful craftsmanship, earns this item our Excellent+™ overall quality rating. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

About the Pronghorn Antelope (Antilocapra americana)

The Pronghorn Antelope (Antilocapra americana) The “underrated” pronghorn is the fastest land-dwelling animal in North America (second in the world only to the infamous cheetah), often clocking in around 50 MPH. Pronghorns are relatively small, around 3 feet tall at the shoulders, and are reddish-brown in color, with a white belly and neck. When alerted by predators, the pronghorn will lift the hair on their backsides, displaying a white “warning sign” for fellow pronghorn within a mile radius. The “pronghorn” itself is found on the male, and it splits in the middle, forming the forward “prong” for which it gets its namesake.
