About the Nilgai (Boselaphus tragocamelus)
The Nilgai is the largest of the Asian antelope species and can be found in its native habitat almost exclusively in India, with introductions to other areas of the world have also proven successful. They are usually found on farmlands and wooded brush areas and are typically built more like an ox than a stereotypical antelope. Their bodies are usually slate grey/blue to brown in color, and they grow short manes and neckbeards, while the males have small horns that grow upwards in a bent-like fashion.
