For sale, we have a fantastic reproduction Lake Trout taxidermy fish mount, posed swimming to the viewer’s left side with an open mouth. This Lake Trout measures 40.5″ in length, 26″ in circumference, and has an estimated live weight of 30.42 lbs! The fins are all intact and in perfect condition, the painting is fantastic, and the taxidermy work is nothing less than outstanding. It is mounted to a custom-made habitat base that features faux rocks and vegetation accents. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

– There is a hanger already attached to the back of this item.

– It will hang on two drywall screws, set 16 inches apart.

– This is a reproduction mount.

About the Lake Trout (Salvelinus namaycush)

The Lake Trout is a freshwater char found throughout most lakes in North America, popular in both cuisines and sport fishing. They are the largest in the char family but are rare now due to overfishing. The Lake Trout is a slowly maturing fish species, usually brownish-tan in color, with white speckles. The largest Lake Trout caught on rod and reel, according to the IGFA, was 72 lbs, 59 inches, caught in Great Bear Lake in 1995.
