This is an incredible Alaskan Brown Bear full skull mount. This skull came from a very large Alaksan Brown Bear and is in fantastic condition. The skull achievies an impressivel SCI Bronze Medal score of 25 8/16″. This skull is from an older bear and therefore has some missing and worn teeth which is common for older bears. These combined factors earn this piece our Premier™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

About the Kodiak Brown Bear (Ursus arctos middendorffi)

The Kodiak Brown Bear has become a distinguished subspecies due to their island habitat isolation. They get their name from the island they inhabit, Kodiak Island and Admiralty Islands. Living on this island for so long without any immigration or emigration, they have become genetically diversified, thus classifying them as a new subspecies of Brown Bear. This bear is, in fact, the largest known subspecies of Brown Bear weighing up to 1500 lbs.
