This is a fantastic faux zebra rug made out of a full-size white cowhide that has been colored to match the beautiful markings of a zebra. The marking and leather quality is terrific, as it has been professionally tanned, cleaned, and colored. The hide integrity itself is exceptional, the hair is incredibly soft, and the zebra stripes have no runs or blemishes, earning our Premier™ overall quality rating. This piece will not last!

– This item is ideally used as a ‘throw’, hung on the back of a couch or chair.

– This item may be hung on the wall as well. Hangers not included. Nails or tacks are optional.

Animal Description

About the Zebra (Equus quagga burchellii)

The Burchell’s Zebra, also known as the plains zebra, is the most common and widespread of the species. Their location ranges from the southern tip of Ethiopia up through East Africa, and as far south as Capetown. The plains zebra is a mid-sized herbivore, and thick-bodied with relatively short legs. Like all zebras, they are boldly striped in black and white, and no two individuals look exactly alike.
