As such, this mount will not last long for the Wisent is a highly desired and sought after piece for the most discerning of collectors. This mount is positioned with the head in a semi-upright position looking straight out into the room. This bull features incredibly thick soft hair in a rich brown coloration that is accented with natural blonde highlights not found in the American varieties. Coupled with the unique hair color this bison also sports a set of large jet black horns that achieve an SCI Bronze Medal Score of 50 6/8″. All this combined with masterful taxidermy craftsmanship earns this item our Premier™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

About the American Buffalo (Bison bison)
The Buffalo (aka Bison) is a North American species native to the grasslands of North America. Today they can be found in various locations throughout the world, including private ranches. This very large member of the bovine family can grow to over 2000 lbs, with its diet consisting mainly of plains grasses. The male’s horns are black and tend to grow horizontally away from the head, curling near the tip.
