This is a wonderful Eastern Canada Moose taxidermy shoulder mount, posed with its head in an upright position and looking straight out into the room. This is a quality moose at a reasonable price! The antlers have palm lengths of 35″ and 30″ and palm widths of 9 1/8″ and 8″, so this is not a tiny moose by any means. The hide and hair are both in great condition. All of this combined with expert quality taxidermy earns this item our Excellent™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

– There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

– The item will hang on a properly anchored bolt screw.

Animal Description

About the Eastern Canada Moose (Alces alces americana)

The Eastern Canada Moose is a subspecies of the moose found in Eastern Canada and New England. They are the third-largest subspecies of moose (behind Alaskan Yukon and Western Canadian), with bulls (males) weighing up to 1,400 pounds and females weighing up to 800 pounds. The Eastern Canadian Moose will typically only come in contact with another moose during the mating season when males compete for breeding rights. Bulls (males) use their antlers to fight to help determine which one is dominant.
