This is an incredible Corsican Ram skull & horn european mount. These horns are mounted on a beautiful wooden hanger, and include the full upper skull with the nose bone fully intact. The horns themselves are fantastic, measuring 28″ and 29″ respectively, and combine with expert taxidermy work to earn our Excellent Plus™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.
– There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.
– The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.
About the ‘Hybrid’ Sheep (Ovis Hybrid)
Corsican (or Mouflon) is often the general name for hybrid sheep, typically crossed between a common sheep (Ovis aries) and any of the following (reported, but not confirmed): Bighorn, Dahl, Argali, or European Mouflon. This wide range of hybrid and subsequent crossing has led to many ‘named’ types of of sheep such as the “Texas Dall”, “Black Hawaiian”, “Barbados”, etc. Beautiful colors and exotic horn sizes/shapes result in a wide variety of appearances within this class of sheep.
