This rug has a full raised head with an open mouth and features heavy-duty carpet backing, which provides durability and protection against wear. The hide is in phenomenal shape, and the rug has been finished with decorative carpet accent trim. The hair on this Black Bear is a unique cinnamon phase color. The Black Bear rug is best displayed on the floor, but foot traffic is not recommended, as it will damage the hair. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

Animal Description

About the Black Bear (Ursus americanus)

Black Bears are North America’s most common and familiar type of bear. Typically found in wooded areas, black bears are native to North America, though most can be found in Canada and the northern United States. The black bear’s diet consists mainly of fruit, plants, and insects, though they also eat fish and small mammals. As the name implies, most of these bears are entirely black, although some can appear cinnamon in color. Males typically weigh in around 300 lbs, while females are usually closer to half that. Weight fluctuates depending on the season, and black bear usually weighs 30% more just before their winter hibernation.
