For sale, we have a gorgeous Bobcat taxidermy rug mount. This piece features ultra-soft fur, a professionally tanned hide, a black felt backing protecting against wear, a grey furled felt border, and masterful taxidermy artistry. This Bobcat rug is best displayed on the floor but can also be displayed by hanging it on the wall. If it is displayed on the floor, foot traffic is not recommended as it will damage the hair. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

About the Bobcat (Lynx rufus)

Bobcats are typically found throughout the US, southern Canada, and Mexico since they thrive in various habitats, from deserts to cool wooded swamps. Along with the diverse habitat comes a diverse diet. The bobcat is carnivorous and will hunt anything from a mouse, squirrel, or rabbit to a mammal its size. Speaking of size, the bobcat is generally smaller than most other wild cats, weighing in at around 20-30 pounds, with a thick grey or brown coat. The name ‘bobcat’ derives from their short, bobbed tail.
