About the Colobus Monkey (Colobus guereza)

The Colobus is an Old World monkey, many species of which are native to Africa and Asia, inhabiting a range of environments from tropical rain forest to savanna, shrub land and mountainous terrain. Colobus monkeys gather in territorial groups of about nine individuals, usually with a single dominant male and several females and their young. Interestingly, when first born, colobus monkeys are solid white.
