For sale, we have an excellent American Badger full-size taxidermy rug mount. This rug features a raised head, an open mouth, a thick fabric backing which provides durability and protection against wear, and is finished with beautiful furled grey and light brown felt accent trim. This American Badger rug is best displayed on the floor, but foot traffic is not recommended, as it will damage the hair. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.
– Great for a floor, mezzanine, or entryway.
– This item is meant to lay flat on the floor or can be fastened to the wall (fasteners not included).

About the American Badger (Taxidea taxus)
American Badgers are typically found in the northern and western US but can also be found further north, in Canada, and as far south as Mexico. They dig large networks of underground burrow habitats with their massive front claws, where they spend most of their time in the winter months (though they do not hibernate). Badgers are incredible hunters (though it should be noted that they are omnivorous) and have very few natural predators. In some cases, they have been known to team up with coyotes while pursuing their prey!
