For sale, we have an incredible Atlantic Sailfish Taxidermy fish mount, facing the viewer’s left side. This sailfish measures 80 inches in length and has an estimated live weight of 80 lbs! The fins are in great condition, featuring no chips or cracks. All this combines with impressive taxidermy work to earn this mount our Excellent™ overall quality rating.  All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

– This item is a reproduction, meaning no real animal parts were used in making it.

– There is a hanger already attached to the back of this item.

– It will hang on a single large-headed bolt (approved to hold the weight of this item) anchored into a stud.

Animal Description

About the Atlantic Sailfish (Istiophorus albicans)

The Atlantic sailfish is a large marine fish species with an expanding “sail-like” dorsal fin and is found in temperate ocean waters of the Atlantic and Caribbean. The sailfish is metallic in appearance, typically blue, grey, or silver in coloration, darker at the top, and white-grey underbelly. The sailfish is well known for its elongated upper jaw, which protrudes into a long pointed bill. When extended, the fish’s dorsal fin is often as tall as the 3-meter length of the sailfish’s body.
