This is a great Asian Water Buffalo taxidermy shoulder mount. It is posed with the head in a semi-sneak position (head lower than the top of the shoulder) looking straight forward out into the room. It has good hide and hair quality with giant sized sweeping horns that exceed the level required for a SCI Gold Medal with a score of 104 0/8″ – One of the Top 20 Largest Water Buffalo of all time! The taxidermy work is well done, earning this item our Nice Plus™ overall quality rating. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc…

Animal Description

About the Water Buffalo (Bubalus bubalis)

The Water Buffalo can be found on in a variety of countries where it has been introduced, including Asia, Australia, South America, and North America. Their massive and unique horns extend outward initially from the head and then curl upward, downward or inward, depending on the exact species and breed. The Water Buffalo’s diet typically includes aquatic plants such as reeds, bulrush, and marsh grass.
