For sale, we have a sensational life-size Alligator taxidermy mount, posed swimming to the viewer’s right side. It measures a whopping 10 foot 9 inches in length (129 inches). This beast features real skin, outstanding craftsmanship, and a custom-made faux rock habitat base. If you are looking for a unique piece that would be the centerpiece of your collection, then you just found it! All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

– The base on this mount is detachable, making transportation and handling easier.

– There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

– It will hang on two properly anchored large-headed screws or bolts. (Please see back of mount for hanging instructions.)

About the Alligator (Alligator mississippiensis)

The infamous alligator needs no introduction, being one of the most respected and feared apex predators in the world. Found throughout the freshwater rivers and swamps of the southeastern United States, an adult male alligator can grow to up to 15 feet in length and weigh in at 1 ton. These enormous lizards are ferocious, adept swimmers and patient hunters, often relying on silence and stillness until they snap their jaws onto their unsuspecting prey. Once toeing the line of extinction, the Alligator is now thriving in its natural habitat.
