For sale, we have a phenomenal African Zebra full-size rug. This rug features a raised head (which is unique for a zebra rug), a professionally tanned hide, beautiful stripes, all four hoofs, and a leather border and backing, both of which protect against wear. Typically zebra rugs are displayed on the floor, but this rug also features d-loops making it possible to hang on a wall. If you display it on the floor, foot traffic is not recommended as it will damage the hair and hide. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

– This item is meant to lay flat on the floor or fastened to the wall (d-rings included).

– We do not recommend foot traffic, especially with dirty shoes or boots.

Animal Description

About the Zebra (Equus quagga burchellii)

The Burchell’s Zebra, also known as the plains zebra, is the most common and widespread of the species. Their location ranges from the southern tip of Ethiopia up through East Africa, and as far south as Capetown. The plains zebra is a mid-sized herbivore, and thick-bodied with relatively short legs. Like all zebras, they are boldly striped in black and white, and no two individuals look exactly alike.
