This magnificent Klipspringer is attached to a custom wall hanging base that features hand-painted faux rocks and faux vegetation accents, all of which add to the overall realism of the piece. This mount features great hair, an outstanding hide, an awesome set of horns that earn an SCI Silver Medal with a score of 12 8/16″, and has been professionally cleaned to ensure they will last a lifetime. The two hangers on the back of this piece ensure it will be secured to the wall, and all you need to hang it is two drywall screws that are set level at 16 inches apart. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

Animal Description

About the Klipspringer (Oreotragus oreotragus)

The klipspringer is a small species of African antelope whose name literally translates to “cliff jumper” in the native tongue. These small herbivores roam the cliffs and mountains of southern and eastern Africa and are known to be able to fit all four of their hooves onto a cliff edge the size of a Silver Dollar. Their olive and salt-and-pepper coat coloration makes them almost impossible to spot amongst the cliffs where they dwell.
