This is an excellent African Burchell’s Zebra taxidermy rug mount. It has an outstanding hide with very thick hair and great markings. The edge is bordered in a beautiful black leather trim with a thick fabric backing to provide durability and protection against wear. The overall hide, hair and craftsmanship are exquisite, earning our Excellent Plus™ quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

– This item is meant to lay flat on the floor, or can be fastened to the wall (fasteners not included).

– We do not recommend heavy foot traffic, especially with dirty shoes or boots…

Animal Description

About the Zebra (Equus quagga burchellii)

The Burchell’s Zebra, also known as the plains zebra, is the most common and widespread of the species. Their location ranges from the southern tip of Ethiopia up through East Africa, and as far south as Capetown. The plains zebra is a mid-sized herbivore, and thick-bodied with relatively short legs. Like all zebras, they are boldly striped in black and white, and no two individuals look exactly alike.
