About the White Bass (Morone chrysops)
The white bass is native to the fresh waters of North America, where they can be found along the Mississippi River and over into the Rio Grande of Texas and New Mexico. The White Bass is often mistaken for striped bass, but they have a tooth patch on their tongues, unlike striped bass.
