This is a magnificent Cape Buffalo Horn lamp. The lamp is made up of a large authentic cape buffalo horn measuring 28″ in length. These lamps are perfect for any office or cabin to give it that safari feel. All of this combined with the fantastic craftsmanship earns this item our Premier™ overall quality rating. All applicable sizes and dimensions are included to make sure this item will fit within your intended display space.

About the Cape Buffalo (Syncerus caffer caffer)

The cape buffalo thrives in virtually all variations of grassland habitats throughout sub-Saharan Africa, from lowland floodplains to dry savannah. The adult cape buffalo has a relatively thin black coat, while calves usually have a browner coat in color. The horns of the cape buffalo are unique in their design, as they actually “fuse” at the crown of the skull, which is referred to as the “boss.” From the base, the horns turn down and then bend up back towards the crown of the skull.
