For sale, we have a massive North American Cinnamon Phase Black Bear full-size taxidermy rug. This rug features a raised head, a closed mouth, a professionally tanned hide, soft hair, a brown fabric backing, a beautiful chocolate-felt accent border. This is one of the biggest Cinnamon Phase Black Bears we have ever had! This rug can either be fastened to the wall or lay flat on the floor (d-loops are not included).  If you display the rug on the floor, we do not recommend foot traffic as it can damage the rug. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

Animal Description

About the Black Bear (Ursus americanus)

Black Bears are North America’s most common and familiar type of bear. Typically found in wooded areas, black bears are native to North America, though most can be found in Canada and the northern United States. The black bear’s diet consists mainly of fruit, plants, and insects, though they also eat fish and small mammals. As the name implies, most of these bears are entirely black, although some can appear cinnamon in color. Males typically weigh in around 300 lbs, while females are usually closer to half that. Weight fluctuates depending on the season, and black bear usually weighs 30% more just before their winter hibernation.
