For Sale, we have a phenomenal North American Chocolate Phase Black Bear full-size taxidermy rug. This rug has a full raised head with an open mouth and features grey fabric backing, which provides durability and protection against wear. The hide and hair are in terrific shape, and the rug has been finished with a chocolate and buckskin colored furled felt accent trim. The chocolate coloration is unique, but the blonde highlight down the center of the back really makes it one of a kind. If you are looking for an interesting piece, then this is the piece for you! This piece can be fastened to the wall, but fasteners are not included. About the Black Bear (Ursus americanus)

Black Bears are North America’s most common and familiar type of bear. Typically found in wooded areas, black bears are native to North America, though most can be found in Canada and the northern United States. The black bear’s diet consists mainly of fruit, plants, and insects, though they also eat fish and small mammals. As the name implies, most of these bears are entirely black, although some can appear cinnamon in color. Males typically weigh in around 300 lbs, while females are usually closer to half that. Weight fluctuates depending on the season, and black bear usually weighs 30% more just before their winter hibernation.
