About the Lesser Kudu (Tragelaphus imberbis)
The Lesser Kudu is an antelope native to East African forests and savannas. It stands upwards of four feet tall, and males can weigh up to 200 lbs, while females can reach 150 lbs. These mammals are sexually dimorphic, meaning that they have phenotypic differences in their appearance. The males will grow spiral horns that typically range from 20-28in on mature males. They are typically grey or brown-bodied with white barring down their lateral sides.
