This is a great Corsican Ram skull cap & horn european mount. The piece itself is mounted on a beautiful wooden branch hanger, and includes a really cool dark silver painted skull cap as well. The horns themselves are terrific, measuring 22 4/8″, and combine with expert taxidermy work to earn our Nice™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.
– There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.
– The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.
About the ‘Hybrid’ Sheep (Ovis Hybrid)
Corsican (or Mouflon) is often the general name for hybrid sheep, typically crossed between a common sheep (Ovis aries) and any of the following (reported, but not confirmed): Bighorn, Dahl, Argali, or European Mouflon. This wide range of hybrid and subsequent crossing has led to many ‘named’ types of of sheep such as the “Texas Dall”, “Black Hawaiian”, “Barbados”, etc. Beautiful colors and exotic horn sizes/shapes result in a wide variety of appearances within this class of sheep.
