For sale, we have a superior Aoudad (Barbary Sheep) 1/2 life-size taxidermy mount, posed walking over a faux red rock base. This Aoudad features an excellent hide, outstanding hair, and horns that measure 29+ inches and achieved a Safari Club International Silver Medal Score of 138 7/8″. This mount has been professionally cleaned to ensure it lasts a lifetime. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

– There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

– The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.

Animal Description

About the Aoudad (Ammotragus lervia)

The Aoudad (AKA “Barbary Sheep”) is a caprid species found natively in North Africa but has since been introduced with success to many other parts of the world, including the United States. The Aoudad has been incorrectly called a sheep, as recent studies reveal closer relation to goat species. They are typically sandy brown in color, with a slightly darker shade running down along the ridge of its back. They can weigh in at a hefty 300 lbs while consuming various types of bush and grass for nutrition. Aoudad usually prefers dawn and dusk for eating and movement, avoiding the sun and high temperatures of mid-day.
