This is a really nice Walleye life-size taxidermy mount. This fish measures 32″ long, has a girth of 17″ and an estimated live weight of over 12 lbs. It is posed facing the viewer’s right side with an open mouth. The fins, painting and taxidermy work are all in decent shape, earning our Nice Plus™ overall quality rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

Animal Description

About the Walleye (Sander Vitreus)

The walleye is a large freshwater game fish found in large lakes and rivers in the northern United States and Canada. It gets its name from its bulbous eyes, which protrude outward from the side of its head. The walleye is popular among anglers for its size, fight, and delicious meat, and is most commonly fished for at dawn, dusk, or during choppy waved weather, when the walleye tend most often to feed. The walleye can grow upwards near 3 feet in length and is typically gold, grey-green and light brown in color.
