This is an awesome silver Chinook (AKA “King”) Salmon taxidermy fish mount, with a length of 36″, a girth of 24″, and an estimated live weight of 26.61 lbs. The fish is facing to the right, with an open mouth. The fins, painting and craftsmanship are all outstanding, with fine touches of black speckling, vivid golden eyes and a subtle pewter shadow along it’s back, meeting our Excellent™ rating.
– There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.
– The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.

About the Chinook Salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha)
The Chinook Salmon is a massive fish that can be found along the northern Pacific coast, as far south as Baja, CA…all the way north along with Alaska and Siberia, then further south down into Japan. The chinook’s average size is 10-50 lbs, but the biggest can be 130 lbs. The Chinook is blue-green, with a red or purple hue on the back and top and silver sides. It has black spots on its tail and the upper half of its body.
