This moose features a professionally tanned hide, a great coat of hair, and a large beautiful set of antlers that earn an SCI Gold Medal Score of 424 2/8″.  This would look perfect hanging on a fireplace! If you are looking for something to give your house or cabin that ‘rustic’ feel. Animal Description

About the Western Canada Moose (Alces alces andersoni)

The Western Canada Moose is a subspecies of the moose found in British Columbia, Eastern Yukon, Northwest Territories, Northern Wisconsin, Michigan, Northern Minnesota, and North Dakota and New England. They are the second-largest subspecies of moose (behind Alaskan Yukon), with bulls (males) weighing up to 1,600 pounds and females weighing up to 800 pounds. The Western Canada Moose will typically only come in contact with another moose during the mating season when males compete for breeding rights. Bulls (males) use their antlers to fight to help determine which one is dominant.
