We have an outstanding Chinese Water Deer life-size taxidermy mount for sale, posed standing on a custom wall hanging base. This gorgeous Water Deer features a great hide, phenomenal hair, and stunning taxidermy craftsmanship. The custom wall hanging base is made from in house poured lightweight rock that also features faux habitat accents. All applicable measurements and dimensions are provided in the specifications section to help ensure this item will fit within your intended space, as well as meet expectations regarding the item’s featured attribute sizes, scores, etc.

– There is a hanger already attached to the back of this item.

– It will hang on two drywall screws, set 16 inches apart.

About the Chinese Water Deer (Hydropotes inermis)

The Water Deer is native to the Yangtze River and islands of Zhejiang of China. These deer are considered a member of the cervid family but are in their own genus as a whole. These deer are known for their fang-like canines that protrude from their mouths. They are relatively small in body size, growing to about 2 feet tall and weighing around 30 lbs. Water deer are a solitary species meaning they spend most of their lives away from others of their kind until the breeding season where they will find a mate.
