For sale, we have a magnificent Dall Sheep life-size taxidermy mount, posed descending a custom faux rock base. The sheep itself features incredibly white hair, an outstanding hide, and a beautiful set of horns. The right horn measures 34 4/8″ in length, while the left side measures 40 5/8″, both of which help this sheep earn a gross score of 142 3/8″. This beautiful sheep is made even better with its display. This sheep is affixed on to a stunning custom realistic faux rock habitat base and dark walnut pedestal. The rock is painted exceptionally well with realistic habitat accents that perfectly match the Alaskan mountain range this sheep inhabits. The wood base the faux stones are attached to is a custom dark walnut octagon pedestal with matching rock inlays to tie the whole piece together.

About the Dall Sheep (Ovis Dalli)

The Dall Sheep is a beautiful horned species of sheep found through the western United States and Canada. Their summer habitats are the mountain and cliff regions of the area, where they are safe from predators and can forage for food. In the winter, they migrate out of the mountains and into the snowy open plains in search of food, where their white coat serves as camouflage from predators.
