This is a spectacular Reproduction Spawning Chinook (aka “King”) Salmon taxidermy fish mount. With a length of 50.25″, a girth of 33″, and an estimated live weight of 68.25 lbs, this fish is just breathtaking. The Salmon is facing to the left with open jaws. The fins, painting, and craftsmanship are all stunning, with incredible detail in the transitioning coloring down its body, and dark pewter shading along it’s back. All of this combines to help this fish earn our coveted World Class™ overall rating. All applicable dimensions are included to help ensure this item will fit within your intended display space.

– There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

– The item will hang on a properly anchored drywall screw.

Animal Description

About the Chinook Salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha)

The Chinook Salmon is a massive fish that can be found along the northern Pacific coast, as far south as Baja, CA…all the way north along with Alaska and Siberia, then further south down into Japan. The chinook’s average size is 10-50 lbs, but the biggest can be 130 lbs. The Chinook is blue-green, with a red or purple hue on the back and top and silver sides. It has black spots on its tail and the upper half of its body.
