    About the Oribi (Ourebia ourebi)

The oribi is the smallest “true grazer” among antelope species, traveling in herds and grazing together in a community even though they’re only around two feet tall! The oribi can be found grazing the grasslands and floodplains of Africa south of the Sahara. The oribi is very territorial and will often mark off entire regions for their community. The oribi has a long neck and long, slender legs, and two small pointed horns at the top of their head. Their coat is generally a silky yellow-brown, with a white underbelly.
