This is a great Pronghorn Antelope taxidermy shoulder mount, posed with the head in an upright position and a slight turn to the viewers left. It features beautiful tan and cream-colored hair, and horns that measure 12 0/8″+. All this combined with masterful craftsmanship, earns this item our Excellent™ overall quality rating. – There is already a hanger attached to the back of this item.

About the Pronghorn Antelope (Antilocapra americana)
The “underrated” pronghorn is the fastest land-dwelling animal in North America (second in the world to the infamous cheetah), often clocking in at 50 MPH. Pronghorns are relatively small, around 3 feet tall at the shoulders, and are typically brown or tan in color, with a white belly and neck. When alerted by predators, the pronghorn will lift the hair on it’s backside, displaying a white “warning sign” for fellow pronghorn within a mile radius. The actual “prong” horn itself is found on the male, and it splits in the middle, forming the forward prong from which it gets it’s namesake.
